Reynolds H. Blankenship, Jr.
Reynolds Blankenship has enjoyed a diverse legal career that has allowed him to represent clients in every type and level of court in South Carolina. After soaring through law school and graduating first in his class, he had the honor of serving as law clerk to (now Chief) Justice Costa M. Pleicones of the South Carolina Supreme Court. He was then heavily recruited and hired by one of the largest firms in South Carolina. During his tenure there, he was closely involved in the largest forestry real estate transaction in the United States since the Alaskan Purchase. Realizing that he wanted a more local law practice that would allow him to develop as a litigation attorney, Reynolds moved on to work in two smaller law firms that gave him the necessary professional growth to open RHB Law Firm, LLC.
Reynolds Blankenship focuses his law practice in Charleston, South Carolina and the Tri-County area that includes Dorchester and Berkeley Counties. He has represented clients in litigation in more than thirty of South Carolina’s forty-six counties, however, and continues to represent clients throughout South Carolina.
While most cases settle, Reynolds has tried more than twenty-five cases to verdict in eight counties. In 2015 alone, Reynolds tried five cases to verdict/judgment in Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley, and Beaufort Counties, all with very positive results for his clients. Reynolds enjoys trial, and is not afraid of the courtroom.
Reynolds understands that his job as a lawyer is to advise, counsel and guide clients through the legal process, negotiate settlement when possible, and go to trial when necessary. Ultimately, Reynolds aims to get you the result that you need and then get out of the way, so that you can get back to enjoying your family and running your business.
